It's that time again. We've been working hard on the latest release, and it's finally ready for athletes to use. Read on for all the newest features and updates.

Version 13 of Pillar is finally here. To brighten up your day as the skies get darker, we've added some fun new additions to the app. We're really excited about them, and hope you are too!

These include:

  • New training packs for your personal goals
  • Integration with Wahoo
  • New easy-to-follow display for sets and reps
  • Bug fixes

New Training Plans

We know that not all of your goals will be event-based. You might want to improve specific areas of your cycling, such as climbing or sprinting. Have a look at the 'training goals' section in the performance tab of the app, and you'll find these new packs to help you with your specific goals.

Return to cycling pack:

The return to cycling pack helps athletes return to cycling training following an injury/illness or general time off the bike. Depending on needs you can choose a plan ranging from 6, 9 or 12 weeks.

Hill climb pack

The hill climb pack is designed for athletes to boost their climbing performance. You can find a plan for those short punchy anaerobic climbs, or medium climbs which is suitable for climbs in UK. It has another plan which caters the need to hit the long aerobic climbs.

Integration with Wahoo

As well as Strava and Garmin, you can now connect up with Wahoo to sync your rides to Pillar. For current Pillar users, you can find this by going to your profile and selecting 'connected platforms'.

Once connected, activities from Wahoo will be automatically synced with Pillar and you'll get notification when they arrive.

New easy-to-follow display for sets and reps

We listened to your feedback, and understood that the layout for the intervals within each session could be very granular and difficult to understand.

We've simplified it down to make it easier to remember and smash each workout!


If you are already a Pillar user, you will have already received an email to download the newest version of the app and try out the latest features.
