It's time for Version 12!

It's that time again. We've been working hard on the latest release, and it's finally ready for athletes to use. Read on for all the newest features and updates.

It's August (can you believe it!) and it's been a big one - as usual, we've been working behind the scenes to make new and improved features for Pillar.

With every update, we're working on making Pillar smoother, slicker and prettier, as well as building up a wide range of valuable training features.

  • Delete an ongoing training plan and goal!
  • "Ride and record" mode (no need for a training plan)
  • Updated sign-up flow
  • Updated dashboard features
  • Updated performance analysis and session evaluation
  • Bug fixes

Delete an ongoing training plan and goal

That's right, you can now delete your training goal in the middle of your plan. You'll also be able to share your goal with your friends.

"Ride and record" mode

You also no longer need to generate a training program to use Pillar. You can simply set up your account with no goal, and simply use Pillar's features to help you organise and evaluate your training.

Updated sign-up flow

We've re-worked the sign up flow, to make it more simple and effective. There are also a couple of new splash screens, for your pleasure!

When signing up for Pillar, you'll be helped to understand your max values with useful articles, and a tool to help estimate your maximum heart rate.

Updated dashboard features

We've made it easier to Pillar connect to third parties like Garmin and Strava, as well as boosting the dashboard with extra tiles like 'upcoming events' and 'start your first ride'.

You'll also be able to see your total weekly distance, duration and number of rides on your dashboard.

Updated performance analysis and session evaluation

You're now able to see your current difficulty level across all the training zones within the performance analysis section, and you can also add your own feedback for each individual session to help you keep an in-depth log of your training.


If you are already a Pillar user, you will have already received an email to download the newest version of the app and try out the latest features.
